My sister Rolie lives in Saudi Arabia and I live in Canada. A long time ago, she sent me a box of tea from Harney & Sons. She is addicted to the Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea, and now so am I.
We meet on Skype, make a pot of tea together and then chat until the pot is empty. Sometimes we brew another pot and keep talking.
When I start writing in the morning, I go through the ritual of making tea first. My green teapot, my white mug, a little pitcher of milk, all on a pink tray. I carry it to my office and close the door. Now it’s writing time.
Do you have a beverage of choice for when you want to think?

Coffee. Black.
Unfortunately mine is wine – way more expensive than coffee and can lead to headaches at times, lol.
…oh just so ya’all don’t think I’m a complete wino I am also addicted to that Hot Cinnamon Spice tea thanks to sister Rolie…
I am definitely a tea drinker. Usually it’s one of three different kinds: Taylor & Harrogate Yorkshire blend, Betty’s Tea Room blend, or Tetley’s Earl Grey Vanilla. I steep one bag per cup for 3-4 minutes, then add milk. 🙂
Mmmm. I’m going to the store tomorrow. I think that sounds perfect. I only have…sugar cookie, blueberry, strawberry and ginger bread at home right now.
sugar cookie, blueberry, strawberry and gingerbread! Those are all teas? I would love to have your cupboard!
Hot Cinnamon Spice tea sounds divine! I love coffee, tea and wine. 😀
and they are all excellent beverages for thinking!
