Spring is arriving in fits and starts. It snowed last week but weโre raking leftover leaves, preparing for the grass to turn green. A few brave tulips are poking their heads out of the ground.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, my globetrotting sister has finished another scuba diving holiday. This time she was at the Farasan Islands in the Red Sea. Here she is reading ON THE WAY TO A WEDDING.
Is it spring where you are?
Delighted to see sun here. The Boy was up for a visit and raked the back yard – big holes where the field mice ate the grass — roots and all. But it is coming up green in other spots. However, the sun and a 20C heat on my sheltered back deck make me happy.
20 degrees! Yay you! We have hit 15 degrees C so far today. What a long cold winter. So wonderful to see little bits of green showing!
Brilliant picture. I hope you are having people “read” the book and photograph it in all kinds of strange places. I also hope that spring takes over for winter pretty darn soon. I’m complaining about 45 degree days but we haven’t had snow in weeks.
Yep! I thought that “underwater reading” was pretty strange. ๐
And I think Spring is finally taking over here. Fingers crossed.
Oh good. Today it’s working. Weird that it was giving me trouble the other day…
I’m glad the frost is lifting for you, and can’t wait to see where your sister takes your book next ๐
It’s finally May now and I think we actually have spring.
I ALSO can’t wait to see where Rolie takes the book next!
